Job Title: L2 Network & Security Engineer – Implementation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced L2 Network & Security Engineer to deliver implementation services for enterprise-grade network and security solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, Juniper, and Fortinet technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and optimize network and security solutions for enterprise clients.
• Deploy and integrate firewalls, routers, switches, and security appliances from vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, Juniper, and Fortinet.
• Conduct L2-level troubleshooting and issue resolution for network and security incidents.
• Perform routing and switching configurations (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, ACLs, NAT, VPNs).
• Assist in migrating and upgrading network/security infrastructures.
• Work with senior engineers to design secure, high-availability architectures.
• Maintain and update documentation of configurations, network diagrams, and change logs.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance during deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in network and security implementation.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Cisco (Routers, Switches, ASA/FTD Firewalls)
• Palo Alto Networks (NGFW, Panorama)
• Check Point (Firewall, SmartConsole)
• Juniper (SRX, EX series)
• Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, VPNs).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for L2/L3 network & security issues.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Relevant certifications preferred (CCNP Security, PCNSE, JNCIS-SEC, NSE4).

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SD-WAN and cloud security integrations.
• Experience with network automation tools (Python, Ansible).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.
