Job Title: L1 Engineer – Cisco ACI (Mumbai)

Experience: Minimum 1.5 years in the IT Networking Industry

Location: Navi Mumbai

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented L1 Network Engineer – Cisco ACI to join our network operations team. The candidate will be responsible for providing first-level support for Cisco ACI-based data center environments, monitoring network performance, and assisting in troubleshooting basic network issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage Cisco ACI fabric and related network infrastructure
• Provide L1 support for network incidents, alerts, and service requests
• Perform basic troubleshooting of ACI components (APIC, Leaf, Spine switches)
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams with proper analysis
• Assist in configuration and provisioning tasks under supervision
• Monitor network health using tools like Cisco APIC, SNMP, SolarWinds, etc.
• Maintain daily logs, incident reports, and documentation
• Support routine maintenance activities and patching schedules
• Ensure adherence to SLA and response timelines

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of Cisco ACI architecture
• Knowledge of Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching)
• Familiarity with data center networking concepts
• Basic understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and protocols
• Hands-on or academic exposure to Cisco technologies is preferred
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Certification such as CCNA (preferred but not mandatory)
• Knowledge of Cisco Nexus switches and virtualization basics is an advantage
