Job Summary:
As a CCIE Data Center Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and
supporting complex data center networks for enterprise-level customers. You will work
closely with other network engineers, project managers, and customer stakeholders to
ensure successful project delivery and ongoing network optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement complex data center networks, including Nexus switches, UCS
servers, and network infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise to other network engineers and project teams.
• Work closely with customer stakeholders to understand their business requirements and
design network solutions that meet their needs.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolution.
• Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations,
and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24×7 support for customer networks.
Qualifications:
• CCIE Data Center certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting complex data center
networks.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco data center technologies, including Nexus switches, UCS
servers, and network infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and standards, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF,
and VLANs.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex
network issues.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical
stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with other data center technologies, such as VMware, NetApp, or F5 load
balancers.
• Familiarity with network security technologies, such as Cisco ASA and Firepower.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP Data Center, CCIE Routing and Switching, CCIE
Security).
