Job Summary:
As a CCIE Collaboration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and
supporting complex collaboration solutions for enterprise-level customers. You will work
closely with other network engineers, project managers, and customer stakeholders to
ensure successful project delivery and ongoing collaboration optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement complex collaboration solutions, including voice, video, and
messaging technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise to other network engineers and project teams.
• Work closely with customer stakeholders to understand their business requirements and
design collaboration solutions that meet their needs.
• Troubleshoot complex collaboration issues and provide timely resolution.
• Create and maintain collaboration documentation, including network diagrams,
configurations, and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24×7 support for customer networks.
Qualifications:
• CCIE Collaboration certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting complex collaboration
solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco collaboration technologies, including Unified Communications
Manager, Unity Connection, and Webex.
• Strong understanding of collaboration protocols and standards, including SIP, H.323, and
RTP.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex
collaboration issues.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical
stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with other collaboration technologies, such as video conferencing systems,
instant messaging platforms, or contact center solutions.
• Familiarity with network security technologies, such as Cisco ASA and Firepower.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Routing and Switching).
